Mandir (“the app”) helps devotees of Irvine Hindu Mandir follow temple events and announcements, and offer their seva. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the seva role you choose. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email you choose to share. We also store the seva sign-ups you make in the app.
Your information is used only to operate the app: to identify you, show your upcoming seva, send announcements you opt into, and let temple admins coordinate volunteers. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
If you allow notifications, we use a device token to send you temple announcements and reminders. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Account and seva data is stored securely using Google Firebase. Donations are processed entirely on the temple’s website (mandir.ws) — the app never sees or stores your payment details.
You can edit your details, sign out, or permanently delete your account and associated data from the Profile screen at any time.
Mandir is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
